The flagship of Estonian gypsy jazz Titoks will perform at the Viljandi Guitar Festival on October 19.

The bright, skillful, attention-grabbing and insanely technical, but at the same time mild sound of Titoks is something that has only arrived in Estonia in the last century. The band’s music takes the listener on a journey in a time machine, where forgotten nostalgic melodies, energy-filled swing rhythms and the hazy atmosphere of smoky cabin music are discovered.

Titoks has been operating as a trio since 2016, during which time they have played on more than 106 different stages and in more than 11 different countries. In 2018, they recorded their debut album “When Day is Done”. Since 2020, they have been acting as a quartet, with the aim of performing the traditional sound of gypsy jazz.

NB! Along the way so far, they have survived bilateral pneumonia, a fracture of the arm and service in the Defense Forces – if you want to see and hear the magic that holds us together, come to the concert!
