Harald Trass (EE)
Harald Trass began his guitar studies in 2010 at the Nõmme Music School under the guidance of Martin Kööp. From 2016 to 2021, he continued his studies at the Tallinn Music High School under the supervision of Vahur Kubja and Kirill Ogorodnikov. In 2021, Harald started his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany under the tutelage of Professor Gerhard Reichenbach.
He has participated in masterclasses with many renowned guitarists, such as Roberto Aussel, Rémi Boucher, and Dale Kavanagh. Harald has performed in ensembles and with orchestras, and has also given solo concerts in Germany. In addition to classical guitar, Harald is also involved in composition, creating music for the electroacoustic guitar.
He has won prizes in several guitar competitions:
Best Young Instrumentalist 2018 (1st place);
Vilnius International Guitar Competition 2020 (3rd place);
Baltic Guitar Competition 2019 (1st place);
International Guitar Competition Jüchen 2023 (3rd place).
Harald was selected to participate in the 2023/2024 LIFT mentorship program organized by Eesti Kontsert, which aims to support the early careers of young musicians.
