Viljandi Guitar Festival and Tartu 2024 present: the festival’s guitar orchestra, on October 22 in Estonian Traditional Music Center.

This year’s festival guitar orchestra gathers under the guidance of Andre Maaker around the music of Sven Grünberg. Reviving images from Klaabu to Lotte. In Grünberg’s sound world, you can find timeless melodies and harmony landscapes that invite you to improvise.

What is a guitar orchestra? As every year, workshops will take place within the framework of the guitar festival, where young guitar students will be guided by capable pedagogues. The study concludes with a concert by the guitar orchestra formed by the students who completed the workshop, where all guitar lovers will have the opportunity to solo and perhaps show their talent to the world for the first time.
